Russia’s Yasen-class submarines are known for their mix of speed, stealth, and firepower. With a double-hull design, these nuclear-powered subs can dive deeper than many Western rivals. They are equipped with eight torpedo tubes for modern torpedoes, anti-ship missiles, and supersonic cruise missiles. The Yasen-class features a spherical sonar array and advanced signal processing, allowing it to track up to 200 targets at once. Its titanium hull and noise reduction techniques make it nearly as quiet as the best Western submarines. It can also launch Kalibr cruise missiles while submerged, giving it strong strike power.
