8. Egypt's Khedive, Tiara
Donn by: Danish Princess Anne-Marie
Since 1905, the owner
Value Estimate: $11,810*
The initial owner of the Khedive of Egypt Tiara was Princess Margaret of Connaught, who was born in 1822 and passed away in 1920. The Egyptian government sent the tiara to the Crown Princess of Sweden as a bridal present, and she wore it on her wedding day in 1905. Her marriage was genuinely a marriage of love, which set it apart from past royal weddings.

Princess Margaret's sister Patricia was to be married to Prince Gustav Adolf. But Prince Adolf understood he could only wed Princess Margaret after falling in love with her right away. Princess Margaret asked to be buried in her wedding attire after she passed away, even though she was married in the Tiara. The Khedive Tiara may have been too exquisite for the Swedish royals to conceal in a tomb. Princess Anne-Marie of Denmark would don the tiara years later.
